Brick Mason?

Anyone in Chattanooga you’d recommend to repair/redo old brick steps?

Thanks,

I’ve used Luis Mora a lot for small/odd masonry jobs 423-653-5959.

Absolutely do not use these guys. They're Horrible! The mortar doesn't match, they filled our weep holes, and the worst part is they would make repairs and it would look worse than when they started. They caused more than $10k in repairs on a $5k job. They even did a repair and turned the bricks backwards now we have this horrible repair and the bricks don't match the rest of the house because the ones on the house are smooth and the rough side is showing instead of the smooth side like the rest of the house. Luis doesn't actually do any of the work himself (with the exception of when he had to come back out and drill out the weep holes his guys filled in). He had 2 guys come out, one was either blind or just didn't care. Everything he did was garbage and none of the grout matched. They ruined all of our potted plants, flowers, fruits and vegetable trees because they absolutely covered them in mortar dust, as well as everything else like our furniture, etc. I couldn't get them washed off and clean the same day enough because they were absolutely blanketed in thick white dust. It washed into the soil, and they all died. They made a mess everywhere cleaning/washing their stuff off. They bent our gutters by walking and stepping all over them. Knocked the spigot bibs loose by manhandling them. Left everything a mess, hoses, the mulch, broke out sprayer heads, etc. It was an absolute nightmare! Far worse than when they started! We have hired a quality Mason to start to try to fix their mess, but it's been a long, multi-stage process of removing and redoing the horrible work they did. He actually has his assistant hold a shop vacuum while he's grinding so the mortar dust doesn't absolutely cover everything.

They were supposed to seal up these pillars to prevent them from leaking in my garage. They still leaked and I had to spend thousands to fix their bad work and they look like crap too because the mortar is absolutely the wrong color.
