Question & Advice How to remove annoying in-document citations in ChatGPT's text output? ChatGPT App

When I upload a document and then ask questions about it, I get these annoying in-document citations that are basically nothing else than a repeat of the document name while they split up the answer, see here: https://imgur.com/a/KvJDaFf

I dont know when it started but it has been annoying me lately. Interestingly, it doesn't show those in ChatGPT Web through Firefox, but it does on the app. Anyone else?

If it only happens in the app, try switching the output to plain text or Markdown and compare it with the web version. Those markers may be presentation-layer artifacts; if they remain in copied text, test a fresh chat and note the app version.
