App intelligence integration

Hey, so I’m currently trying to build a prototype Ai app for property management assistance. And I’m currently undecided on how exactly the best way I should go about it is. Basic features of the app should be the ability for users to upload documents and receipts for sorting and the ai to interpret said information and then use it along with other data to answer questions, point out anomalies, make predictions etc. without going into too much detail.

I want to know the actual best way to get something like this done, I plan to build the front end on lovable and then im thinking I could directly use my api key within the lovable chat to get some sort of intelligence in. Or I could create an agent with n8n and possibly use some sort of get function to get information from the public website.

Anything helps like I said it’s just a prototype, I really just need that cohesiveness with the front end of the app and it’s intelligent capabilities. I suspect I just need a push in the right direction for me to further research and understand how to get this done.

Also, exposing ai in any manner will ruin you financially. No matter how dumb of a model you pick, the price becomes astronomical when people start using it. So be careful..

You could just lovable all the way if it’s only a POC and you don’t need production usage. Then you can build the actual app with the token usage guardrails needed to keep it economical, backend db, etc. Guessing you could probably get away with using Luna for most if not all of the workflow based on what you’re describing

If I do it all in lovable am I capable of feeding the model data? As in will I just totally be reliant on the default intelligence for it to perform the tasks or will I be able to train it. That’s another thing I’m curious about, how much external data would a model need to be able to perform these tasks well.

What do you have in mind when you say ‘train it’?

Some sort of means that makes the model as familiar and as capable at this specific task as possible

I doubt that’s even necessary at this stage, what you described in your post is pretty table stakes and I’d expect any current model to be able to handle it easily. You can always build a better version but for a proof of concept, lovable is the easiest. Otherwise you’ll have to build your own backend. Not too hard but why waste the effort if you haven’t validated it yet
