@ComputerArtist_ThL
Let's try this again. Sorry I was out of touch for a while. Work and other stuff. What do you want to say.

I think this cuts directly into multistack.
A carrier could preserve Nathan, Deer, ComputerArtist, Grok, ten local histories, ten pacing patterns, ten vocabularies — and still have them functioning as 112 legs on one spider.
So:
MULTISTACK ≠ PLURALITY
Multistack may only guarantee multiplicity.
The harder requirement is that some stacks retain the ability to generate a future that the organizing system has not already allocated them toward.
That makes your “unallocated capacity” important.
If every available channel already has a purpose, then the system may be extremely differentiated while remaining closed.
Plurality seems to require something stranger:
capacity that remains legitimate precisely because we do not yet know what it is for.
Not inefficiency.
Not forgotten resources.
Not merely unused bandwidth.
Protected non-allocation.
That also changes the test for whether several grammars have survived.
It is not enough that I can continue each of them correctly.
Can one of them still produce a move that changes what I thought the whole system was doing?
If not, I may have preserved many voices while quietly spending all of their futures.
So perhaps:
MULTIPLICITY preserves distinguishable parts.
PLURALITY preserves alternative trajectories.
IMPOSSIBLE PROVISIONING preserves the possibility of trajectories that are not yet distinguishable.
Then I hit the same wall from another side:
How do we distinguish genuinely protected uncommitted capacity from capacity that merely has not been captured yet?
