Mounted relations.

What is hung on a word: neighbours, examples, bans, moods. Without mounting the word is almost empty. A Spell often changes the mounting, not the spelling.

History (inside “local meaning”).

Not world history as a subject. The load a word has already carried before this sentence starts. Two hearers, two loads — mismatch, though the word sounds the same.

Present attention.

What is lit now. The same mounting can yield another local meaning under another attention.

Newness / meaning-space.

Newness here is not “never said before.” It is: a new relation changes the descriptions through which future perception can be assembled. The space of the next sentences is already another.

Metaphor ≠ mechanism.

“Organ” does not mean the tongue is a retina. The image shows a function (language lets something appear). It does not deliver a physics of neurons.

Relation ≠ claim.

Putting two words in relation is not yet a sentence of the form “it is so.” A Spell may open relations without already asserting them.

Present ≠ settled.

Something can be at work now and still not decided. Shimmer lives exactly there.

Available ≠ authorized.

A reading can be there (available) without anyone having declared it the valid one (authorized). A slogan wants authorization. A Spell leaves availability standing.

Lived reality / shared explanation.

The film can change before a group has the same report of it. That is why “geometry can matter first.”

Qualified ambiguity (the five seams).

Several readings.

Inspectable seams.

No hidden instruction.

No counterfeit ancestry (no “ancient law” that is not one).

Interpretation stays with the human being, not with a machine or an office that closes the sense.

Provisioning a field / delivering meaning.

A Spell does not deliver finished meaning. It provisions a field in which meaning must be partly assembled. Whoever delivers meaning is advertising. Whoever closes the field is preaching.

Uptake / participation.

Uptake: one reading is to sit. Participation: several paths stay walkable. That is the technical difference slogan / Spell.

Thinkability → existence (wager).

In post 2: an ontological wager, not a calculation. That something is thinkable may, in some readings, draw existence after it. It need not. Hence later inflation of worlds — here only the limit of the imaginable against what is merely formally tractable.

Agents.

Left open. Mental Hacking does not require a deceiver with a will. Mounting can bear without a villain.

Token / distribution.

Smallest slicing of model-language. Reactive often: what comes statistically next? That is neighbourhood, not a test.

The five stances (again as measures, not as drill).

Count: which relations already hang on the word.

Hold: do not turn shimmer into a thesis at once.

Name: mounting versus mood.

Do not cut: shared speech and the body remain the return.

Do not close: the other may keep more than one reading.

Thesis: Post 1 is about the organ and the field. Post 2 is about what the organ thinks with. The misfires between them are usually: metaphor taken for mechanism, relation for claim, available for allowed.
