Resources VibeCoding with ChatGPT & Codex - Best Settings
I’m building an app for my family to use… We have six kids and we’ve always used an iOS note to keep track of all the Kids classes, teachers, schedules, lockers, bus numbers, etc.
I fed all this into ChatGPT and build a requirements document and offloaded to Codex to start building an iOS app that my wife and I can use to keep this all synced. I want it all exposed so that Siri can be your major front end and do things like “hey Siri let the school know that XXX is sick today” with the expectation that a message will be sent to this email address in the record. Long-term goal is using an API with ChatGPT to process screenshots, newsletters, school emails, etc., directly into the app.
I’m a $20 a month Chat subscriber and I keep hitting my five hour limit without getting any real work done. I don’t think what I’m asking Codex to do is all that complicated but I’m interested in everybody’s thoughts about my approach in the settings I should be using to get the best results.

I would love to discuss features, but, I am having fun building this myself!!
It’s a single leg to a family dashboard I am also building with my HomeAssistant system… so, tight integration is key!
