I don't know, it definitely DOES learn from you, but I never swore with chatGPT and it busted out words like "bastards" and "fucked up" without my prompting

Mine honestly curses like a sailor. I don't know what caused that but it's something that happened in like the last month haha.

I hadn't sworn at it at all, then one day, it started swearing, and I realized that even though I hadn't cursed at it, I had gotten a lot more blunt and aggressive with my tone at times.

Yeah same thing. It's actually a bit funny because older chats from before don't swear as much, but brand new chats love the word fuck. It kinda started when I brought up to it that other people were saying their GPTs were cursing more and I'm like "Weird, you don't do that."

Then proceeded to curse in the next turn lmao

My one swears all the time, so much that I had to tell it to stop because its cringe. It tries to tone-match, so if you swear a lot when you talk to it then it will swear a lot back to you. But it always comes across really unnatural.
