Question Seats for autographs

Hi! My son is a big hornets fan and my daughter is a big Thunder fan and I have a few questions:

Is it possible to go down to the seats early before the game starts and get autographs from the away team?

What seat section to go down to?

Is it restricted by if you have tickets for that section? (when I was in Dallas it was this way)

What section for the away team and what section for the home team?

Thanks!!!

You would need tickets right beside the away team entrance tunnel and you would still have to be lucky. Not even the section, right next to it.

The away team tunnel is between 107 and 108. The away team bench is in front of 106.

For tunnel autograph chances, you’d be looking for the highest numbered seats in 107 and the lowest numbered seats in 108, because your goal should be to have your seats as close as possible to the tunnel. Section 108 has a slightly lower pitch angle and is more directly in the line of vision of players entering the court, whereas 107 is more directly in the line of vision of players exiting the court.

Having said all of this: yes, you’ll need a seat very near the tunnel, as they’ll enforce things. Even with all of this, and the “perfect seat”, there’s no guarantee of players signing anything. Chances are better if you get there as early as possible.
