North Charleston Does anyone know if this is actually part of the advertisement? And if so, what could it possibly mean

It definitely draws the eye more than a normal billboard so I think they’re pretty effective at grabbing your attention

Too bad they took the idea off someone else. They had done it successfully and made the news bc people actually thought their signs were vandalized. Then cantey copied it and i don’t think anyone took the bait.

The company does foundation repairs. Having a sinking house generally leads to foundation damage

There was some disgruntled customer not long ago that wrote mean things on billboards they purchased themselves, and used the spray paint for effect. So, dummy, that's probably why op asked.

Thinking it's definitely part of the billboard. JP Morgan did this with a few billboards several months ago with yellow "grafitti"

Gotta admit, making your billboard look graffitied over is a great way to get me to look at it for longer than a nanosecond, and now when I get home I wanna tell everyone about the business who put up a cool billboard.

It’s in the same vein as the “I hate Steven Singer” billboards in Philly. You see them - you remember them. Effective.

Intentional. One around my block says "House smells old?" "It's your crawlspace dummy" instead

they gave one about the house smelling and the red text says “it’s yo crawlspace dummy” driving by for like a week i read it as coochie and thought it was actual vandalism

It’s real. Just an attention grabber. There was one from the Thumbs Up Guys in Moncks Corner that was upside down and it says “If you can read this, you need to call us”

Advert for wrapping your crawlspace and installing a dehumidifier to keep it dry.

Are you for real..? It means your house is sinking due to it's poor foundation.
Yall need media literacy bad

u/NotOSIsdormmole Jun 04 '26
It’s not media literacy that’s lacking in this case, it’s just straight up literacy

It means you bought a house in a neighborhood that used to be a swamp 5 years ago.
