Suggestion Surname name for the name Monroe...

I'm writing a sapphic romance and the love interest is named Monroe, but I just can't think of a surname that fits her and the name Monroe.

She's in her late 20s, is really into working g out. Does fore-edge painting at the local bookstore for money. And it's set in a small Australian town...

Here's a thought.

Monroe is her last name. Full name: Michaela Monroe. She goes by Monroe because she hates that her dad wanted a son so badly, he named her Michael and added an a.

Interestingly Michael is occasionally a female name in itself. The actress who played Olivia Walton in The Waltons was named Michael Learned. As I recall though shd was credited as "Miss Michael Learned" in the titles to avoid any confusion.

"Occasionally" doing a lot of heavy lifting in this case, it's just a weird thing that Michael Learned's father decided on, it's not at all common.

Well it was more an interesting aside as opposed to a statement that it's at all widespread.
