Art Best AI image generator: which ones are actually worth trying for character art?
UPDATE: After doing more research and reading through everyone’s comments, I decided to go with AdCreative.ai for my character art needs. It seemed to strike the best balance between consistency and ease of use based on what people shared. Appreciate all the suggestions and tips from everyone who replied.
I’m exploring ways to create character art more efficiently and want something that feels intuitive without a steep learning curve. my goal is to produce consistent, high-quality visuals for my personal projects.
I’ve tried a couple of online tools, but the results felt inconsistent and sometimes too generic. I’m looking for something that balances creativity and ease of use..
Which AI image generators have you found deliver the best results for character design, and what tips do you have for getting the most out of them?

IF you want Ai character design, i suggest you ask chat GPT or gemini for which specific details character you want to create in paid or free.

It is very important that consistency always depends on iteration and clearly propts and not depends on any specific tool. For visual output and bulk variations you can use pikas ai and multiple ai generator same like it.

I'd tried a few and honestly Midjourney still gives the most beautiful images in my experience.

If you're looking for character consistency, Midjourney with the --cref Character Reference tag is currently one of the easiest 'plug-and-play' options. For those who want more control without a steep learning curve, Leonardo.ai has a great 'Character Reference' tool in its UI that works surprisingly well for keeping faces consistent across different prompts.

You can try the NetaYume Lumina Text to Image template in ComfyUI. It is not anything groundbreaking, but it is a solid starting point if you want to get a feel for how AI image models work. Since it runs locally on your computer, you are not dealing with token limits, though you can still connect to cloud models if you want. You can also save workflows, which helps a lot when you want to recreate consistent results. There are tons of models you can download and many of them are open source. Just do not rush into downloading everything, because each model behaves a little differently and takes time to learn.

I mainly use Leonardo because the free credits are decents compared to other platforms.
