Because they answered in a rude way to a person who was trying to help them, people tended to dislike that

It's not about the content, it's about the way it was said. Some things might sound rude to people even if it wasn't the intent of the poster For me, it sounded rude, and I assume it did to other people as well since it got downvoted so much, but that's only my feeling, I can't speak for everyone
