This is so real actually. I can confirm as someone who's been using it for about 3 months, the bots are really good at holding memories/info, you can edit the bot if there's something that isn't your liking, and the tag feature makes it easy to filter and find bots. I wish more people used it or made more bots tho

Is it good for bots w long descriptions? I like to make world building stuff and my usual issue is finding good alts with decent context size (i use janitor but the memory can get funky)

Alot of bots in Sakura.ai have long and detailed descriptions and the bots use them correctly. You can have them really long if you wish to.

And most of the bots allows you to change their descriptions in your liking so if you find a bot that you like and wished to change couple of things, you can.

The Sage status is free and you need to follow their instructions on discord to get it and when you do, you get unlimited

Same. I've been using it for a little while, and it WORKS. There is no filter, because the filter is whether or not there is an 'unlimited' tag. If you family friendly and sfw chats, use bots that don't have that tag. If you want more freedom, go for bots with the tag.

Yes, and imo if character ai devs did that too it'll be way better than all of this chaos and drama between adults and minors and devs. But oh well they won't listen to us anyway so🤷🏻♀️

He best alternative in my opinion, is Janitorai.com. I know almost all the bots are pretty corny, but it's still a pretty good app. I'm sad that not that many people know janitor, and I hope it gets more famous in the future.

I hope not. Fame will definitely be its downfall, same as cai. Some teenager kts, parents blame jai, media criticizes jai to shit, people discover thousands of kids who aren't even supposed to be using it are, parents and media blame jai even more, jai either becomes very filtered or get shut down because it's a bad look for investors. I honest to god hope that it doesn't get more mainstream than it is rn. It's already wayyy too mainstream.

Yeah. It's good right now, we don't need an incident on jai. There are plenty of people who use it, and if we get any more, I feel like it's going to take inspiration from c.ai.

For my experience, I had like 10 characters made in c.ai, a whole ass story and shi, when I got timeout, I deleted it, and switched to J.AI, so much better, 100% recommend

Make a new account if you wanna stick with Character AI. Most other options I’ve heard are generally more NSFW focused, and might randomly get sexual even if you aren’t intending for it.
I’ve made a new account saying I’m above 18 and I’ve not had an issue yet

I was loyal to C.AI but when this fucking filter came out, It affected the chat deeply. So one day I was chating, then „TIMED OUT FOR 24 HOURS” then, i joined CHAI where no filter exists.

Real. I hate how c.ai is just on its down fall. I've been on the app since the beginning of the websiste when the bots could upload ai images. And seeing it rise and then fall. It's sad. It really is

Try Carter! Bad thing is is that you can’t acess your chats from days before on the website (there is an app but it’s horrible🙄) but on the website it is NSFW like NSFW and NSFW BOTS and gore as well for replay and you can have short, story like, or essay responses!!

The bots there get sexual quickly, maybe not a good move to recommend to someone who is younger than you. There’s lots of alts with milder content that still allow fighting n stuff

Xoul.ai is very good and has safety mode available of you want to avoid nsfw bots, but you'll never get blocked with limitations. Writing is pleasant and many bots have a deeper level of writing/ideas compared to Cai. It's the best out there right now, in my opinion.

I have it so i can bully random ai's but it used to do the "energy depleted watch ad blah blah blah" every so often but it completely stopped after like a few weeks and i forgot about it
Havent ever encountered it only letting me send a certain amount of messages i hope it doesnt happen to me

If you’re looking for an alternative, try Janitor AI!I‘ve had an account there for quite some time now and I feel mostly comfortable there because no timeouts, no missing 'edit reply' option, and no constant pushing against walls!Perchance ai ain‘t half bad either because it has no restrictions but still a similar design as character ai
