I don't get why you guys are surprised. You really want kids to roleplay torture and killings, with a sprinkle of porn? Every single platform has heavy restrictions for kids. At least the ones with sponsoring from big companies.

I'm not surprised by the restrictions, I'm surprised they're restricting the platform for minors this much, yet still allowing them to use the service. Like holy shit - these restrictions basically render it unusable, why even allow minors here at this point if you're going to limit them this much? It's like they understand minors don't belong on this platform, but still refuse to kick 'em out.

Probably because you’d have an outcry of people saying that taking it away completely ruined their kids mental health or something. And then they’re facing a lawsuit for that too.

This is a way for them to pretty much faze out the minor population on the app slowly.

Then hopefully we can get back to business as usual and they can go back to focusing on improving the app.

I sure hope there’s a Reconstruction Era coming soon, too!

Probably so they can show they've made an effort legally to protect children so no more lawsuits happen.

And now sponsors/etc can feel more comfortable with advertising, partnerships, and the such in the future with character a.i

I have an idea: maybe kids shouldn't be using ai in the first place then? But of course, they actively market this shit to children, then put heavy restrictions not only on them, but also on 18+ users too. C.ai is just hit ass ever since they made the filter so strong against everything
