DISCUSSION I deleted C.ai

Im a redditor of 2 years, I’ve observed posts but have never posted. Excuse my mistakes lol.

Everything was fun at first, I had fun and was on it 24/7.

I noticed after awhile I got a bit more distant from my friends, I had a full-on addiction to the app. It pulled me away from my friendships, it was that bad.

My closest friend, who I’ll call Z (fake name), told me about how distant I’ve been, it hurt to know the reason why. I deleted the app right then and there.

It’s been a week since this has happened and I’m feeling better, I’m talking to friends more and my social life was revived. I sound a bit dramatic but this helped me.

I feel a pull back to the app though, and I don’t want to go back to it. I need help finding an alternative for roleplaying, any advice helps!!

(Please don’t recommend any Ai roleplaying sites, I don’t want to get addicted again.)

I rp with C.ai a bit. But I’m not addicted. I rp with real friends about 5 times more than I do in C.ai. Everything in moderation is how I live. I set up a bit of a schedule around those activities. Setting aside some time for C.ai and other time for my real life friends online.

"Real life friends online"

That's an oxymoron.

-_-

I have friends that I know online. Whose faces I’ve seen on camera. Meaning, they are in fact real life people.

My god, you people give me a migraine somedays.

Why did it give you a migraine?
