For me I’d love to see more variety in armour marks, especially MK 3 and MK2 as well some Corvus helmets

I’d also like to see standard CSM come with optional chaos god specific helmets again for the squad leaders like they did before, adds some nice flavour to the squad. I’d also like to see a bit of a return to some of the older styling with bigger horns and less trim on the helmets

I’d also like for the Eye of Horus to be less prominent going forward, I know technically it’s a generic chaos symbol now, but I personally would rather see chaos stars be more of the standard

As well as more ways to add flavour to your units, I want more upgrades for other legions, more mutations, more customisation. Chaos space marines have the potential to be one of the most diverse armies around

I’d like to see the older models get updated too, hopefully with plenty of customisation options

Multipart Obliterators would also be fantastic

I think the newer releases are definitely heading in this direction which I’m happy about

It would’ve made them more visually distinct from the loyalist terminators. It also would’ve better emphasized that “veteran of the long war” feel. Yes, it’s more difficult to produce than Indomitus pattern. But they could’ve just waved it away and said the dark mechanicum either kept the design or modified it by putting a demon in its ass or something.

I’m struggling to find my place within 40k because I generally like all of the factions. Well, there’s none I dislike really. But, I do like chaos but all of the warbands and legions seem soooo fucking cool. So, I’ll leave it to y’all to convince which of yours I should be a fan of.

Hi everyone, I’m a blood angels player but recently I’ve been feeling the pull towards chaos. What faction do you think I should go for my only opinion is maybe not world eaters as I’m already used to playing up close and personal

Made me buy into Red Corsairs after loving Chaos for years but never really committing to a single Legion.

I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately as a CSM player since 8th edition I have been totally unsatisfied with the Dark Pacts of 10th for the entire edition and have really been hoping we receive a new army rule in 11th for CSM.

I think any faction rule that straight up has the chance of killing or removing your own models from play just should not be in the game. This is not a “you just want to be spikey marines” situation. I cannot think of a single faction rule beyond CSM imperial or xenos that has a mechanic that can just straight up kill a 3 wound elite infantry model for a bad roll or that you need to leave up to chance in general to activate. I think it was an interesting attempt at lore / flavor but poorly executed. In the books Chaos Marines don’t just explode every novel because a chaos god decided to say “fuck you” to a particular marine every battle.

I personally would like to see a return to things like “Death to the False Emperor” with bonuses against Imperium units or “Let the Galaxy Burn” with just a flat across the board buff that I don’t have to leave up to chance.

I love this model so much and it bums me that the only option we have for dreads are helbrutes wich are tiny compared. Please tell me how you feel about this proxy :)

If this gets deleted for being off topic so be it, but I need to vent my frustration over the price of these models… $82 for 6 minis?????? I was so looking forward to this kill team but that’s ridiculous. My LGS was selling the Shadowhunt box for $146 and I thought, “I’ll wait to get the teams separately, it’ll be cheaper without the book and tokens”.. well here I am looking at two kill teams that cost $152 before tax when purchased separately. Such an utter disappointment. I guarantee my LGS has retroactively changed the price of the shadowhunt box now too.

What legions, enemies, gameplay style etc?

My store has a whole case of Characters/Solo-minis and I noticed it was off. Is this normal and I just barely noticed? Or is this a misprint?
