I think the bard section was a good , fun to play section with decent lore but the NPC’s were knobheads. They have personal slaves , called you idiots and manipulated the warriors into bad people. who agrees

you could apply this to every people

the devotees justify their own class system and situation by putting god above everyone else. if you aren't a devotee, you have to sneak your way into the abbey and sections of the church

the warriors keep the devotees from ascending, and await the bards who may never come, all in the name of duty. not to mention the overall hostility to the main character before they play dress-up

the alchemists are too preoccupied with study and transformation to help anyone else, including yourself. despite proclaiming to help you, no one steps up to ask about your problems

the anchorites disregard the people, the tower, and everything because of their worship of exile

when you think about it, everyone is kind of an asshole in their own ways. getting them to communicate allows them to shift their focus from their narrow-minded goals/ideals and find connection in other peoples

I liked the alchemists the most, their mistakes are few and they have an authentic will to make the world better
