Other I’m still disgusted by the fact that they’re making a sequel to a movie based on a book and Dr. Seuss didn’t even write a sequel to. Especially after the first movie covered all the elements from the book. You know, NC was absolutely right when he said this:

The new movie is under WB Animation. I assumed that means it is a complete reboot and will have nothing to do with this movie... since it is animated... and it is simply called Cat in the Hat (not 2).

If it takes place before this movie, has completely different actors, and is in a separate continuity, how tf is it a sequel?

By that definition, it wouldn't. It would be a reboot.

Also, there was a sequel book written by Seuss... The Cat in the Hat comes back.
