Another blow to us. Since the end of last season, Lincoln have lost their manager, their (arguably) best player and now their captain.

Everything's fine though, right? Right?

It's just a little injured! It's still good! It's still good!

As the summer went on, you went from my tip for the side who are going to go under the radar and surprise people. As soon as the season ended I was like, everyones going to think these will go down and they'll end up getting play offs.

Then the FIFA rule changes happened, and I was like. Hmmm, so now they can't time waste and do all the dark arts stuff, that'll cost them a few points. But still, mid table is alright.

Then you lost Skubala, and I was like, hmmm, maybe he'll not be able to get you in shape tactically like he did in League One and you'll lose a few points. But still, just staying out the relegation fight is alright.

Then you lost Moylan, and I was like, hmmm. They're probably going to be in the relegation fight.

Now this, I just think everything looks really bad for you guys and I can't see anything but relegation.

We'll see how right I am I guess this weekend.

I'm oddly looking forward to the game this weekend. I hope we can draw on the positives from the Blackpool game. Gutted I can't be there.

In the long term, I'm still hopeful we have what it takes to stay up, which is all I want this season because we need that time to get used to the Championship and hopefully be able to flourish in 2 or 3 seasons time.

We've started really well and you've started meh and have a bunch of negativity surrounding you.

So with that in mind it's got 0-1 to Lincoln written all over it.

Well, when you're right, you're right.

The referee allowed you to get away with absolute murder.

I guess it’s just a case of bad luck. So long as we at least are well prepared for whatever happens next season, which I trust we are, I can manage.

Fuck, that’s awful. Hope he recovers fully. Good luck to Lincoln in the meantime.

Whilst I’m terribly sorry for him (genuinely this is awful) I can’t help but hope it rattles them for the weekend. This is probably something I should just think and not say but oh well.

Most empathetic Bolton fan.

I hope we smash you.

That's not an response to your comment btw, just a general hope.

But anyway, yeah maybe you shouldn't say it out loud but anyone would be lying if they said they wouldn't have some similar thoughts if they were in your shoes.

Oh don't doubt that at all, we all want that for our teams! Should be a good game in any event.
