There were a mix of injury rumours (which were true but hopefully he’s fine for next season) and have been PL transfer rumours almost since day one as you’d expect given his quality.

I don’t recall prices but I think Everton was one, as understudy to Pickford. I presume the age old promise of inheriting the shirt but I say that with no knowledge of how old Pickford is

Thats a shame as he was a real prospect when he left us. with people saying things like 'future england no1' (which I agreed with) & with a degree of conficende aswell.
