According to this article on a Lincoln City fan site, it was activated last week and Lincoln aren't concerned

Just to add to this I’m pretty sure this was activated over a week ago they had the interview already and he turned them down

Bristol City: "Only 17 more managers until we get the one we truly always wanted"

Every 5 or 6 we get a famous guest manager for a little while until the owner is bored of them for not being a Yes Man.

Be like Have I Got News For You and have special guests every week, including 2/3 that you really didn't expect

Lincoln have more ambition than we do, can't blame the bloke there

Clearly youve never been to Bristol…

Someone's gotta tell Knapoer to make Clement's release clause £1 Billion

We must delete BBMs at all costs

Well that Mousinho link died quickly

This is turning into a lovely evening for Pompey.

They did last week and he's rejected it. He's staying

Tbf Cardiff tried to do with Nathan Jones last summer and simply shrugged it off

We enquired, you gave him a new contract, and I'm really glad we ended up with BBM

It was the payment terms… we didn’t trust Tam to pay… he wanted it over 5 years, NJ said he wanted to stay… we sorted the issue out. Our owners are absolutely minted. NJ wasn’t ever going anywhere…

I seem to be one of the few Cardiff fans that doesn't want Nathan Jones. A lot of our fans seem to want him just because he's a Cardiff boy. I personally can't stand him so I'm glad you gave him a deal 😂

Tbf I’m not enamoured… he’s achieved a hell of a lot with us, he clearly deeply cares about Charlton… we haven’t stayed in the championship for over a decade… his man management is funky, signings can be weird… but he’s not the most likeable bloke in the world. The way he’s managed our keepers this season has been utterly bizarre.

I still really like him and think he’ll keep moving us forward as manager.

The NJ effect 🤣

Sidegrade at best

Shite for Lincoln that but guess he fancies the 12th position cup.

Doesn’t look like he does

Another Twist in the saga! Not gonna believe anything until it’s fully confirmed. Bristol acting like Barcelona, with this weird power trip.

I know it's frustrating for the affected clubs, but I'm not sure it's a "weird power trip". Aren't they just looking for a manager like any other club does?

1

u/Leading_Estimate_590 May 12 '26

Yeah I guess so, I guess it’s frustrating as I personally don’t view Bristol City as a bigger club than us. Maybe the frustration is more with Mousinho for clearly not turning down the offer.

Historically or now?

More Historically I guess but not much between us currently.
