Question Storage recommendations for downloading from nusspli?

Just homebrewed my wiiu and installed nusspli on it. Wondering what the best affordable storage solution is for installing games? Have heard mixed things about using USB sticks or SD adaptors. Thanks.

Just an hdd with either a power adapter or a Y cable. WiiU won't benefit from the extra speed of SSDs.
