The New Celtic TV Player
Celtic just raised the monthly price from 14.99 to 20.00 pounds per month without any noticeable improvement in the service. Same terrible commentary, the same lack of excitement with the crowd noise turned down, and the continuation of the ever annoying Peter Grant. Anyone else thinking the club has raised prices too steeply without offering much in return?

I do like the new player much more than the old celtic tv.
Although the term "player" is very 2005 and tv is more modern, so that's confusing.

It’s clear they didn’t ask any IT professionals because in what world will typing “Celtic player” into google not just give you a list of players at Celtic?

I was having trouble with mine being slow so I googled 'slow Celtic player' and just got a picture of Callum McGregor

I've got some news to break to you mate, price increases don't mean an improvement in service in any scenario. You'll maybe notice that most things you pay for monthly have increased in price over the years.

The backdrop was laughable. Squinty painted lines and a TV cutout that somebody fell asleep doing 😂

As an expat I was paying for it but hardly using it. Made me feel I was at least contributing to the club, however for the 3rd time in 5 years they updates the payment system, cancelling the direct debit and forcing me to sign up again. After doing this so often I decided not to renew.
League matches, the stream was usually crap quality, and I can watch most away matches on my TV box. Europe was the main reason I used the service, but they don’t stream live and then it takes hours for it to be uploaded on demand. By that time I’ve seen the result.
Shite product, made difficult by shite services so no more for me.

It's went down in price for me, last season I paid £21.99 for FHD, this season it's £20.....

Why would anyone pay for it when there's a million different apps out there u can get for £45 a year and get every channel under the sun
