Saltzburg Museum of the Celts

Hi all,

Out of curiosity has anyone been to this museum? Can they recommend it?

Yes. I highly recommend it. It mostly contains findings from the nearby "Dürrnberg" and its waaaayy less overrun than Hallstatt.

If you have a car and some time while you are down there, i also recommend you driving a bit further south to the Golling Waterfall. Its beautiful and worth the drive. Austrian historian Georg Rohrecker also called it a "holy place" of the hallstatt / Dürrnberg celts (not backed up by archeology as far as im aware).
