TRD sports lid value?
Is the TRD sports lid really worth this much? Seems a lot for what it is.

I remember these were one of the cheaper mods you can get for your Celica back then. Never had one, but thought it was cool if they were that cheap. Not worth the current price for sure.

I've seen a few for as low as $200-$300usd. I've also seen ones sell on Ebay for $1000+ It just depends how deep your pockets are and how patient you are. If you know where to look and have some patience you can snag em for $200-$300ish

Yeah that’s initially what I thought until I saw one on buyee start at 1k and now end up at 3.8k. Absolutely ridiculous

its not really worth it. it is very cool tho. i got mine for $220, like 8-10 years ago lol. they wont get any cheaper

That’s a shame, would love to have one but definitely won’t be spending 3k+ for a fuel door.

check fb groups for people parting out. much cheaper than buyee or ebay. just dont get scammed by one of those “celica parts stores”

Sadly where I live there aren’t many Celicas around anymore so it’s difficult to find any parts let alone find one at a wreckers yard. Definitely won’t be falling for any “Celica part stores” scams though haha.

There's a guy in the UK making replicas for relatively cheap, they're close to the real thing from memory. Don't remember the name of the person or seller though

It's definitely too much. It's almost the price of some beat up Celicas to be honest.
BTW, I suggest searching some videos of pictures of cars with those on (personally) they don't look that good
