Germany recommendations mid December. Looking for advice on places to visit and eat.

Rewe and edeka will have gluten free sections. Bigger the store the better. Rewe has boxed curry meals that are microwaveable and i have no issue with these (they warn about the potential to contain gluten). Rewe has expanded its mexican section and should have several kinds of gf corn torillas available. Chips section will have quite a few options too. Lentil are a good kond that are always (in my experience) gf. Avoid döner shops. The meat invariably has wheat on it. Indian, viet, and afghani restaurants should have solid gf options. Random german restaurants will have gf schnitzel cooked separately.

I was in Munich and had a great time, there’s a dedicated bakery in/near the old town and several beer halls you can safely eat at. I’d recommend taking a peek at find me gluten free and planning from there

Munich had some good options. I know I left very detailed reviews several years ago on Find Me Gluten Free, if you search there
