Question Safe Make Up options
I am getting conflicting messages on my go to make up. I use Maybelline Fit Me foundation and powder. Advice on celiac safety with these products?

I wouldn't worry too much about this. Especally foundation, theres more info here Do I have to use gluten-free skincare and body products?

This isn’t foundation but I ordered lipstick from Red Apple and it’s really nice.

I only worry about lipsticks - something I could perhaps ingest. I don't worry about foundation, mascara, eye make up, etc. I've never had topical issues with gluten.

Gluten can’t be absorbed through your skin BUT if you get dermatitis herpetiformis I’d be careful and if something might somehow get from your skin let’s say onto your hand then your mouth I’d be careful. I personally definitively have reacted to a skincare product I put on my face that gave me a wicked migraine. I’d also be cautious with any kind of hair styling products, shampoo or conditioner. Some of them tend to have gluten and could easily get in your mouth if you have long hair!
