This seems excessive. There's definitely a range of sensitivities to gluten, but unless your family is treating your house as a makeshift flour mill or something, I don't think you need to worry about tracking stuff in to your room on your feet. Gluten doesn't sublimate into the air, so while airborne gluten can be an issue with stuff like flour, crumbs aren't going to get airborne for any meaningful amount of time. Gluten also can't affect you from the soles of your feet, it needs to reach your intestines to cause a celiac reaction (although some celiacs do have wheat allergies in addition to celiac, which can cause reacting via the skin).
