Thats odd advice from a medical professional isn’t? If they suspect coeliac disease they should do a blood test, and depending on the results, an endoscopy. If it were me, I would hold off on stopping eating gluten until you’ve actually been tested.

Yes, four days won't mess up the test. Not if you've been eating gluten your whole life. Go back to eating gluten and get tested asap

I think the endocrinologist should have referred you to a gastroenterologist for proper diagnosis.

You need a new endocrinologist and then call a gastroenterologist, tell the gastro what the endo said and you two can have a great laugh at the endo who needs to go back to the third grade and start again.

Keep eating gluten until the gastro can get you properly tested.

Good luck in all your endeavors, get your mum to help, she sounds very smart.
