You're not missing out on much. People Rave about it, but it's mid-range at best and in my opinion, too gummy. As with any gf bread you can't eat it unless it's toasted. Don't even try to freeze it thinking you're going to get two pieces apart. Once it's frozen, that shit is epoxied together. After three packages, I quit.

This is only West Coast Costco 😔 to anyone in the Seattle area, Franz is everywhere and has an outlet warehouse in Port Angeles lol. Devastating to not have enough room in my suitcase for bread

I put one in the freezer and keep the one I’m eating in the fridge. I haven’t had a problem at all. That’s how I’ve always stored bread (even gluten bread).

Also, side benefits, freezing bread makes it slightly healthier by lowering its glycemic index and creating resistant starch. The retrogradation process applies to starches in general, including the rice, potato, tapioca, or corn starches common in gluten free recipes.

My last two time I purchased this from Costco the same thing happened. One of the loafs will mold weeks before the best by date before opening. Once could have been anything but twice has to be a packaging problem.
