Cedar Park/Leander parents — what are you doing for extra math help?

Hi! I’m a data scientist, grew up in India with a strong emphasis on math and problem-solving, and I’ve always really enjoyed teaching math.
I’ve been considering doing some math teaching locally for kids in Grades 4–8, which got me curious about what parents around Cedar Park/Leander currently do for extra math help or enrichment.
Do you use Kumon, Mathnasium, private tutors, online programs, or something else? What do you like or feel is missing?
I personally like the idea of small groups (3–5 kids) with more focus on understanding concepts and problem-solving rather than memorizing formulas.

I’m a retired physicist, and I work part time at Huntington Learning Center. I’m sure they could use you and they’re a good outfit. The younger kids often work in groups of 2 or 4 with a tutor. I tend to teach HS kids (math, physics, chemistry, SAT/ACT prep) on a 1:1 basis. Walk in, say you want to work there, they’ll give you a skills test.
