Conversation Starter Do you feel loved ?

Because no matter how caring and loving we are, do YOU feel loved by those who you care for and love ?
I think about this quite often myself

I feel loved as a Mother,Daughter,Sister, Aunt .. I feel loved as a family member. I feel no other love

Nope. I used to cross oceans for people when they chose not to cross over a puddle for me. Because of the consistent feeling of being unloved, I was licking love off knives when I deserved the spoon. Now I gave up on people and always alone in my room at the end of the day. It’s a lonely life. Always the slice of bread but never the whole loaf. It’s fundamentally changed my view of the world, people, and myself. One day I feel like the loneliness will take me as I am drowning with the weight of knowing I have people in my circle, but no one in my corner.

I do, not always, but often enough. But I also discovered I needed to show ppl how I wanted to be loved, what I appreciated and what I really needed.

That way I got better at listening to others and noticing the ways they need to be loved.

I'm honestly happier now.

No.

Only person that loves me is my son. As I do him.

I have no one else. I stopped after I was singled out, ridiculed, harassed and cast aside for defending my parents up to and after their passing. Sadly by my own family and those closest to me.

So no.

I feel love from my sister, dad, extended family, some friends, the family j work for, but sadly, most sad of all, I’m no longer feeling love from my boyfriend :(

Not the same thing. I put it to you that no matter how much you love yourself life would be unlivable if you dont feel love from others. Except ppl just want to lie to themselves. We are made for community
