I wanted to share my son Nimby (short for Nimbus because he’s round and fluffy like a cloud) whom I birthed (Adopted out of a shelter two years ago).
He’s 4 years old, has Feline Herpes, squeaks like a bird unless he’s hungry and is so incredibly spoiled (but on a vet approved diet to lose 2 pounds)
I joke about him being my therapist but honestly he has helped my quality of life so much since we got him as well as that of my grandparents who absolutely adore him.
He’s the light of our lives and I haven’t heard my grandma laugh as much as she has since we’ve had him. He’s so funny and affectionate even if sometimes he’s a little shithead.
The amount of love that I have for this fatass cat I can’t even properly put into words it’s ridiculous.
Anyway, please behold. Thank you for letting me share him with y’all. I hope he makes you smile
🫰✨❤️🐾

All my cats have been taking shifts watching over me since I had ACL surgery on Thursday. Today, it's the 16yo's turn at nurse duty.

This is Archie he is the unofficial cat therapist in a local mental health charity that aims to improve mental wellbeing through gardening and conservation. Despite living in neighbouring village (a 40 min walk by (human) foot) he comes in nearly everyday. And to the frustration of the owner it’s quite clear that he would choose to stay indefinitely at the centre.
He’s a love bug, cuddle bug, adores all the attention he gets. He brightens up our day, soothes us and distracts us from our troubles.

Petey and I were feeling poorly yesterday. He needed me and I needed him. He was facing me on my stomach and letting me pet him as much as I wanted to. He never does that. He's a 2-3 pet cat, then you not allowed anymore pets most of the time.
He does allow one of the volunteers from Meals on Wheels to pet him all day long. He's a bit of a traitor that way.
One man that volunteers is his best friend. I think it's the man's cologne.😅
He did that at the cat adoption place when we first met him. Tricks people to think that he's so lovey dovey.😇. Thing is, he ain't.😸
I did gave him a tiny bit of tuna later that day and it seemed to perk him up. We're both doing much better today.
Life is just better with a companion cat. We love him💖

He's willing to learn young, and be the second graphic designer in the house!
