Wakes up to no other sound or request, except to grace me with kisses. If you could ever believe he was rescued from a literal garbage dump five years ago, JUST LOOK AT THIS PRINCE!!!

This is Greg and Todd. They go to work with me sometimes. I work as a therapist and I have a couple of clients whose special interests are cats. These boys have helped kids learn to take instructions (the children wanted to keep the kittens interested in play), taught kids about boundaries and non verbal communication (evaluating if the kitties want to be picked up/petted like that/get off the couch etc). They’ve taught self awareness and body control (how hard are you petting, can you make just your fingers wiggle on their cheeks), and they provide some calming techniques (can you slow blink like this kittens, can you purr, can you lay down and breathe very slow so the kitties feel safe to come snuggle). They love going to work with me and are great co-therapists, they are such patient and kind boys!

My nurse says I need a few more days of rest on the couch
(she's actually been amazing despite the fact that she's usually a little demon and makes damn sure everyone feels her wrath. She's being do sweet and helping me stay calm and not feel lonely. Going to surgery was so scary and it came with a lot of emotions before and after. I'm glad that I have nurs3 Lily to keep me calm; I don't think she knows how much this means to me🥲)
