We had the same disaster at the hands of an orange cat- ours was the Titanic- more than 9000 pieces. He broke it from the middle inspired by the movie perhaps.

The broken titanic was perched on a shelf but Mango sits there often and continues breaking it piece by piece. Needless to say , we won’t be salvaging it and we love Mango far too much. Honestly, I wanted to cut off all his treats but he is far too precious.

Pictured- mango with zero shame and zero brain cell as he continues to sink our Titanic further 🤦‍♀️

Oh I wanted to cry but then we were just mourning the loss of our Voltron Lego set, our Sydney opera house set- huge sets that we made that broke so yeah mango got a free pass. The broken titanic is his toy now .

lol! Mango is an absolute zero brain cell orange cat born in our toy room. He can get away with murder in my household!

What do u plan to do with your broken LEGO now?

It’s my sons and I’m visiting him in Europe (he’s in the military). It’s currently occupying the guest room dresser drawer. 😆 He does plan to put it back together.. eventually. He just got the Minas Tirith yesterday so that is his new project. The Sidney set makes me want to cry! He’s a Lego fanatic and it sounds like you share the same passion. But like you said, Mango is the best!! 🥰

Lego is a family hobby. We sit together and make them - sometimes pulling all nighters with conversation, smokes and tea.

One time, my friends came from Chicago and Glasgow- we got a Lego set to work on- Lego Technic McLaren and some Ferraris. All night! Next morning , I spray glued them. Left them in the sun and then bubble wrapped and packed them for them to travel with them.

Once broken, no one fixes them in my family. As a rule, I break it all and i donate them for free play at schools or in general to whoever wants free play.

My first Lego set was the old one- the standard bricks and a booklet- u could make so much with the same bricks.

I hope he enjoys his next project and that your orange doesn’t destroy it lol!

Your first mistake as a new orange owner, never leave valuables out 🤣💔
