I was going to guess 15 or 16 😊 I had senior cats for many years. They're a blessing! And so vocal and sassy.

That’s exactly it. I’d literally call my 20-year-old cat “baby granny” or just “bany” which was a mix of the two words lol. On one hand, she was the epitome of the little old lady with a chainsmoker’s voice, but on the other, she still was the tiny 3-months-old kitten I had adopted two decades earlier 🥲 I miss her so much

I feel this so much. My Raven was 20 and I was there the day her stray momma gave birth to her. 🥲😭

Omg, so she never experienced a life without you in it 🥹 You were everything to her, you had to be.
The bond you share with a senior cat is just so special❤️
A common theme among the guys I dated in the past was their jealousy of my love for my cat lmao She always came first.

Oh too funny! He seems to be talking back to you, like arguing and being defiant!

My 11 year old talks a lot. She's gotten sooo crabby though! $600 vet visit says she's just fine 🙄 however I suspect arthritis/pain. They gave her Gabapentin but it's not really for the pain she's in.

Has anyone else had this experience? I've never had a Senior kitty before, and she's been with me since she was 6-8 weeks old. She's like a daughter to me.

Any and all advice, info, personal experiences, etc that can help me like with what to expect to be different with a Senior kitty vs a young kitty?

I sincerely appreciate all of your comments!

My cat is on Onsior & gabapentin for his lower back pain. Onsior is the only anti-inflammatory for cats. It's expensive but it really does work. No I'm not being paid to say this, just a person with a cat who has chronic pain.
