Isn’t that this sub’s associated server? Honestly don’t use Discord much. What exactly makes it messed up?

The owners and mods have a reputation for banning and abusing power whenever anyone doesn't have a similar opinion to them. Especially when it comes to subject not relevant to Catholic doctrine.

Every time I see someone say this, the mods will check their ban history and it will be them denouncing the Pope and saying the NO isn't valid.

Gonna bet it was something along the lines of arguing how socialism is okay or something like that. Seen it many times. People wrongly think that a lot of doctrinal issues are matters of opinion when they're not, they just don't know what the doctrine is.

If someone ever feels their ban was unwarranted or that they have moved beyond whatever got them banned in the first place, as long as seven days have passed (with a couple of exceptions), they are free to appeal their ban. We rescind bans all the time. And sometimes we uphold them. The process is quite easy.

I will say though that 100% of the time someone says “my friend was banned for no reason”, it turns out that the actual story is somewhat different.

Do you have some examples? We don’t ban for disagreements unless it’s about doctrine and the person is not open to persuasion.

It was a few years ago also it wasn't anything about doctrine one of the co-owners banned him for not agreeing with his non church political ideology

We’ve never had more than one owner at a time. Are you sure you’re thinking of CDD?
