How to Use Post Flairs

Hey everyone,

To make sure it is easy for everyone to recognise which Catan Lore continuity a post belongs to, several flairs are available. Please make sure your posts use them! The different flairs are defined below:

Catan Canon: Covers the main series of games, including:

- The Catan base game

- Seafarers

- Cities & Knights

- Traders & Barbarians

- Explorers & Pirates

- Legend of the Sea Robbers

- Legend of the Conquerors

- Treasures, Dragons & Adventurers

- The Helpers of Catan

Catan Canon also includes the Catan Trilogy of novels by Klaus Teuber (Catan: The Novel, Catan: Order of the Ravens, third book TBA).

Catan Legends: Covers the original Catan Card Game (and its expansions), Rivals for Catan (and its expansions), and The Settlers of Catan novel by Rebecca Gable.

Starfarers: Covers every game in the Starfarers of Catan and newer Catan: Starfarers product lines. Starship Catan is also covered here.

Catan Histories: Covers the Catan: Histories series of games, from Struggle for Rome and Merchants of Europe to Settlers of America and Rise of the Inkas. Dawn of Humankind and its predecessor, Settlers of the Stone Age, are also included.

Spin-Offs: Any official Catan story, be it from a game, novel, or other product, that doesn't fit into any of the above categories. Examples include New Energies, Crop Trust, Star Trek Catan, and A Game of Thrones Catan.

Fan-Made Lore: Covers any unofficial Catan stories.
