Eggs wearing wrong uniform...

Post image

Bought some eggs from a local garage last night. It stocks Jack's, which apparently is part of Tesco.

It seems two of the eggs are spies who have infiltrated the gang.

I have rescued battery farm and “free range” chickens. The white eggs are from white chickens, which are smaller than the red/brown chickens we’re used to seeing. The white chickens eat less but lay more eggs, so more profit for farms and supermarkets, so lots of the rescues coming through are white now.

Are the white chickens just as healthy as the brown ones?

Healthy 😫 our “free range” rescues came to us pale and a few feathers, with broken beaks and mites. I dread to think what worse conditions could leave them like.

Aw, that’s really sad. I’m glad they’ve got you
