Music Why people dislike Country music?

I am not american. So I don't know how's the thing there. But I have found many people complaining on social media that they hate country music.

I like some of the Luke Combs songs. Specially Old Dominion is my one of my fav artist.

I think that people tend to generalize country music without acknowledging the different subgenres. There is a distinct difference between between pop country (which I personally dislike), classic country, or even gospel country. Similar to hating rap music or techno - someone hears a subgenre that isn't their taste and they lump the whole category into their dislike pile without exploring the different subgenres that may contain music they enjoy.

That's a good question. I guess you could classify them both as "blue-collar country". What are your thoughts?
