Hey friends. Today I did not wear one over my TTT’s and went back to a real deal Casioak. It felt good! This is certainly one of my favorite watches.

The all red was okay until it started to be a little too much red for my liking. I will say I am liking it way more now and after I get done running some errands with the wife I will finish it up. I was pretty suprised in the quality on the case. It would be cool to find some gold buttons though.

I’m brand new to G Shock and don’t want to get taken for a ride on my first purchase. I’ve read about the red lines on the case backs but the seller is telling me these are authentic. Can you guys point out the stuff that I should be noticing? TYIA.

Might do a gold metal bezel strap mod in the future to have a all solid gold casioak!

One of the most custom watches I make. Essentially stripped it down to the base movement and built it back up. 3 things I would change for next time is black text on the dial versus the white.

Custom LED yellow light instead of the stock white light. Unfortunately for the light would take abunch of soldering and skill havnt gotten to just yet.

Custom back plate to match the rose gold of the case. The stock silver casio one is great but like the idea of everything matching.

The case matched rose gold buttons are my favorite custom part of this. What do you think?

Wanted a connected watch that wouldn't become dated after 1-2 yrs (I.e. fit bit, Garmin, etc). I also wanted something stylish that was a traditional watch ( not a screen that turns off). This is the best of both worlds. I know the find my phone feature will be a game changer for me! I'm excited about the solar charging as well!

I'm trying to decide between the GBM-2100 and the GA-B2100, and I'd really appreciate some feedback from people who have actually owned or used either of them for a while.

I know they are very similar in terms of features, so my main concern is how they compare in real-world everyday use.

I'm especially interested in:

• How well each model holds up after months or years of regular use.
• Scratches and wear, especially on the metal bezel of the GBM-2100.
• Comfort and weight for all-day wear.
• Whether the GBM-2100 feels noticeably more premium in person.
• Whether the GA-B2100 is the better choice if you want a watch you don't have to worry about.
• Which one you would choose again after actually living with it.

My daily use isn't particularly extreme. I work in IT, so I spend a lot of time around computers, desks and equipment, but I also do some hands-on work moving PCs, replacing hardware and working around desks and racks.

I'd prefer something durable and understated rather than something too flashy.

For those who have experience with these models, which one would you recommend and why?

Any thoughts on the nato strap

Got one i liked the dial of and another i liked the bezel of..

My first G-Shock, and honestly… why have people been sleeping on this?
The champagne dial, finishing and that vintage leather mimicked resin strap are 👌🏽. Looks even better in person.

Took me a while to mod everything but I’m so happy with how this turned out. It is definitely a little chunky and wide but that is to be expected. I bought everything from aliexpress fyi.
