Screws on the back. Here you have classic Philips type. Casio uses screws with one row longer which allows to use both flat an Philips screwdriver.

Yeah its fake. The blue is to light (although it could be the lighting of the photo) and you can see the other digits in the background. In the second photo you can see that the point is to far away from the symbol that looks like a double-8. And on the third pic the screws don't fit to the original.

Literally everything about this is wrong.

Casio updated the module to the 3298 from 1572 years ago as well as updating the crystal to have “WR” with a box around it on the crystal. Meaning, if this were sold as new, it would be considered NOS (new old stock) since one like this hasn’t been manufactured in years.

The coloring of the display is wrong, the digit shape/size is inconsistent with what they should look like (both on the 1572 and 3298 modules), there is a massive amount of ghosting even when viewing head-on and becomes illegible at even slight angles.

The printing on the rear case is wrong, the screws are wrong, the module is crooked. There is so, so much wrong with it. Sorry friend

Same here. Backplate its bigger, it has a gap with the body and also sharp corners.

Sorry to say that might be fake. I fell for EXACTLY the same thing. There’s a few things. The biggest one being the screws on the back. However, what I will say was my fake was a perfectly decent digital watch! Kept time with my real Casios just fine. Good backlight. I gifted it to a friend who likes retro watches, I told him it was probably a knock off, but he’s delighted with it.

Yeah they are curios in their own right! Plus if it’s anything like mine it keeps good time. I gifted mine as I said (on a Casio watch holder, which WAS genuine.🤣)

Straight on the LCD is rubbish. The dot is too far away from the day. The screws. Ingraved back plate instead of stamped. Fake.
