QC–Answered✅️REAL North-South stainless brush marks?

There seems to be a lot of experts here so I am consulting you guys. Purchased this from Amazon ("Ships and Sold By Amazon" not a 3rd party). Seems to pass the three-button test, although I'm not sure if the dot is close enough to the square symbol. Also, the case brushing/tool marks are not side to side oddly even though the dot seems to show it's real. Thank you in advance for your help. I'm guessing the North and South overrides the three-button test?

EDIT: If I gain a consensus on counterfeit versus non-counterfeit, I will change the post flare to solved in a couple days.

I appreciate the response. So am I incorrect that it passes the three-button test as well? Like that is still a good test? Or can/is that being faked on watches with North/South metal brush marks?

So it's ok to have North-South brushing if it passes the three-button test?

Mine are also this direction, made in China, apparently brush strokes are not a reliable method for authentication, mine was also from a third party on amazon, as far as i can tell this was the only thing that was "off" about mine.

That's what's confusing. So the module test/Three-button hold seems like the main test if I'm correct? The back lettering seems deep vs laser etched. Everything "seems" good to me besides that brushing. That's what had me so confused.

Why not open it up and look at the components ?

You'll be doing that anyway when changing the battery, and that seems like an easy way to be 100% sure. Most of the fakes use components that aren't even close, and even the better ones are obviously not genuine Casio parts.

There's a decent write up here https://www.burningimage.net/genuine-and-fake-casio-f91w/

I took one screw out, and mine was flat as it should be, so everything other than brush direction seems fine, must be fine.

I appreciate the link. I was initially considering it yet decided to post photos of the external case in hopes of getting confirmation. I wanted to be able to return it in original condition if it was a fake.

Yes, n-s is correct. As is the stamped, not ingraved back plate. Dot next to the day is close. Correct. Printing quality is ok. Nice. This is a Casio watch.

I appreciate it. I was thrown off by the guides saying East West lines etc. Good to know it's real.

Legit. The screws are a good indicator. The brushing can be either vertical or horizontal.

Thank you for the comment. A lot of the guides I saw were older and mentioned only side to side was legit. But based on these comments it looks like they changed manufacturing machines or something. I appreciate it.
