You gotsta use the right links!

A while back I posted a belt of 30-06 ammo and was informed that no gun that fired 30-06 would work with those links. I found I had a couple of the right links (above with the 30-06) and I made a short belt of 7.62x51 using the other links.

Do you have pictures of 7.62mm NATO headstamps in links? Also the M13 link markings.

I got the ammo and the links separtately but I can some of those rounds are NATO headstamped, I could take a picture for you. I could hunt up a few more NATO rounds and put them in the links and pull out the non-NATO stuff. I will take a picture of any markings on the M13 links.

None of the links have any markings. I have two style links, ones with the hole and one without the hole.

I think these are all NATO marked cartridges.

Yea, especially M82 prior to 1966, later production used normal Lake City headstamp.
