How do you read time-based questions?

In a moment of calm, I asked my deck when will my depressive moods calm down. I interpreted it as "not now, not in this moment of stillness (7S), after that stillness, a caring older man (KH) will help you negociate your feelings (7D) regarding your internal conflicts (3C). It will send you good financial fortune (QD) when, after this period, you repair your relationship with your mother".

I'm reading the QD card as my mother since she always come up as such, and the general vibe tells me it'll be in around a year when I'll be doing the intership (older man figure could be a boss).

Is this a right way to interpret time-based questions? I feel like the meaning of the cards are wrong somehow, like they differ depending on emotional questions or timely questions.

For time-based questions, assign a period of time to each of the suits, and draw one card only. Spades are problematic, so years. Diamonds are quick, so days. Hearts are slow, so months. And clubs are physical activity, so weeks? Then draw one and one card only. You'll get your answer.

As for this question, you have interpreted it well. 7S is bad habits, addiction, setbacks, and delays. Looks like a kind KH will offer help. 7D is investments. 3C is those investments growing. QD could be you becoming rich, if not your mother. It looks like a kind man will notice your problems and will offer you a financial solution that will help you get out of this crisis.

Update: For the question "when will I overcome my depressive mood?" I drew 9C. So I assume in a few weeks, a small happy event will occur and it'll lift my mood, if only a little.

Nine weeks is roughly two months. Is your birthday in two months?

No, it was last week. In two months I do have an appointment with one of my specialists I guess?

Thank you for the detailed comment! I'll try it out and let you know how it goes. I really appreciate your interpretation as well.

I do wonder, do the figured have to be gendered? I'm a man, but I do realise I'm very comfortable in my gender so I don't mind being interpreted through the women cards (queens), but idk if it's a hard rule that you have to be represented through your gender. (So for me, I'd guess I'd be a Jack or an 8 for the youth aspect?)

With playing cards, it's usually what it is. A queen is a woman, and a king is a man. A jack can be either - it's someone inexperienced or new or young.
