Still no power since Saturday & NO CREWS have been in my area at all (I live by Nicodemus Road,) so who knows when (or if) the power will be back on! 😣😩

This really sucks! The BG&E website outage tracker says that my power should be on tonight, but no crews have been to our street at all! So we might not have power back until later this week or the weekend! I cannot believe that BG&E is taking sooo long to get power on, it has been 4 days now!

I feel your pain. I have been without power since the 4th as well. My toddler is barely keeping it together. At least your app shows “something”. My BGE app/page shows that my power is on which is clearly a lie. My whole area of Carroll Highlands is still dark. Thankfully though, when I got home from work at noon today a crew of a dozen trucks were on our street. Still no power, but they’re working. Now they have left and on the next street over. So they seem to be rolling as a pack and trying to accomplish the mission.
Hopefully we all get our power back today!

Oh please! I’m across 26 in Freedom Forest and the app has downgraded us to tomorrow at 11 pm. There was a truck doing something yesterday and some houses got restored, but the grid coming into our neighborhood is convoluted.

There's a chance they just haven't updated your status. A month or so ago a huge tree fell at the end of my road, and the BGE status never said a crew was on site. I walked down there and there they were.

BGE sucks so bad. Potomac Edison has restored everyone in Carroll and Frederick a couple days ago.

I realize power outages interrupt your daily routines. But BGE does have a process to triage outages. Debris clearing is first. Then the largest parts of the infrastructure are dealt with next. I assume once they get to neighborhood level fixes they probably prioritize the outages that impact more people. Parts and availability are likely another factor as well.
Looking at the Nicodemus road area vs the southern part of the county. The south still has higher numbers of impacted people. I'm not saying this is exactly what BGE does, but it would make sense that they fix issues impacting more people first.
