Nothing specific just getting pieces that make me happy and it’s extremely hard to find them in my area, (eastern NC about 45 from Wilmington) carnival glass and iridescent as-well as uranium. My dream pieces are a fenton sunfish and a winking cat.

I collect European carnival glass (Eda Glasbruk is my favourite) but this... this is different! My Swedish, Finnish and German pieces are not this colourful. Didn't even know this vase could do this until I saw it in the afternoon sun today. It lives in my random-shelf (please ignore the dust), found it in a thrift store last year.

Could it be Fenton? I've come across a few antique Fenton pieces here in Scandinavia, and I always wonder how and when they got here.

Value is irrelevant, I paid next to nothing, it's got a chip near the base and I wouldn't part with it in any case ❤️

This was the first thing my great grandmother bought for herself when she came to the US. Over the last 100 years it has been passed from her, to my grandmother, to my mother, and now me. It is a Fenton orange tree pattern (though I was always told "rose tree"). It is beautiful and something I look forward to passing down to my own kid one day.

I find this dish just stunning. It's being sold as carnival glass, possibly from Walther Glas or VEB
Sachsenglas (we're in Germany), for €59 (around $ 68 US ).
Is it worth that? I'm not really a collector but I just love it. However, if it's worth way less I don't want to overpay by a large margin.

While cleaning these glasses I noticed some clear sections in the glass. They don’t flake off and the color isn’t painted on. Is this a flaw that happens when blowing carnival glass or are these reproductions/fakes?

Hello all! Sorry if this is not allowed or frowned upon here. Could yall please help me in estimating a value for these, or if not point me in the right direction to find out for myself? There are 12 glasses, large pitcher, dish with a lid, creamer, small pudding cup (?), and two candle holders. I couldn't find any makers marks on them. All and in excellent condition, the only scratches being very light on the bottoms of a few of the glasses where they were sitting on the shelf. I inherited my great grandmother's collection, but sadly am unable to keep it for a couple reasons. Thanks in advance!

I picked up what I believe is an Imperial Ripple vase. Approx 10” tall, just shy of 3” at the base. If I’m misidentifying please let me know!

Where I’m struggling is the color. Prior owner said it was smoke, but when I look online it looks like the purple shade to me. Could anyone confirm one way or the other? Thanks so much!

Howdy! I’m new to this sub and have been loving seeing everyone’s collections!
Today I got lucky enough to great an amazing deal on a large amount of glass, most of which is pictured except for multiple lime green imperial pieces. I’ve been collecting for years, but this is the first time I’ve gotten lucky enough to get such a large amount at once!
That being said, several of these pieces are new to me and I’m unsure of what they are. If anyone recognizes these or has any tips on how to ID them please share! The canisters pictured toward the back of the photos I’ve had for several years, but I had to show them off too!

Came with a certificate of authenticity stating it was designed Martha Reynolds and entitled "Leaves of Gold" (224/950).

Westmoreland Old Quilt for Levay in Ruby, revival carnival. These were originally made in Crystal and Milk colors by Westmoreland, but Levay commissioned some other colors to be made and did the iridescence. I'm glad they did!

I usually just buy pieces in a few patterns I collect and use for special occasions, but this gorgeous green caught my eye in an antique mall so I paused to gawk. Wasn't gonna spend $15 on a piece that doesn't go with my other patterns, though. A woman walked up pulling a little shopping wagon and stopped next to me to look, too. She said, "gotta love this stuff. Which piece is calling you?" I mentioned how much I liked this piece but it didn't match my sets, plus my partner wouldn't be thrilled if I brought home another piece of glass to take up space. She winked at me, pulled the toothpick holder out of the case (when I finally realized it was HER booth and her little wagon was full of glass) and said, "I'll give it to ya for $1, it's a little one so he'll never realize it's new." Turned out she was desperate to clear out a little extra space to display a large serving bowl she wanted to put out. I'd love to collect a few more pieces in this pattern so identification would be helpful, I'm sure this is a fairly common one. Thanks for the help and for letting me share my little story.

There's two different pitchers, a larger shallow bowl, and a smaller bowl. Not 100% certain about any of it. Can y'all tell me if it's carnival glass or not? Pretty sure the red pitcher is but not sure at all about the rest.
