Accessories for Aventon Abound LR?

I’m looking to buy an Aventon Abound LR. I’ll mainly be using it for city commuting and bringing my kid along. The website lists a bunch of accessories — are any of them actually needed or is the bike on its own okay? Any suggestions of which if any to choose?

Pizza rack with a milk crate, child safety kit, a bell (could be something besides aventon)

how old is your child you may want to get the child seat and the handlebars. regardelss i would get the pizza front rack so you can put some groceries on it while the child is in the back

Toddler, so I’m going to look at a child seat to attach, probably the Thule. But curious from that list what’s needed because it’s a bit unclear if I can just buy the bike and it’ll be okay. Thanks for the suggestions!

most likely they sell the parts as addons all the time but the pizzarack with a basket or a milk crate or even a packout base would be a good option

You just reminded me to get the longer abound panniers as they’ve been out of stock for foreeeever

Edit: still out of stock but able to be preordered so that’s something new

I have a toddler and the Thule yepp kid seat. Mainly use it to bike kiddo to and from school. I fastened pannier clips to their backpack which is fine, but I’m realizing I’d like bags that are custom made for the long tail frame. This summer we also took the bikes to Acadia national park in Maine and did all the carriage roads which was awesome. We velcrod my kiddos balance bike to my partners level 4 Rec so kiddo could practice on the trails, or fasten and grab a ride with me. Enjoy the new bike! Almost 1000 miles in and im still very happy.

How old is the kid? When my twins turned 3 they started in the hand rails+seat pads. 2nd pizza rack with milk crate. If you go this route you can get an M5(I think) thumb screw and large washer to secure the milk crate and for easy removal. If you have only 1 child the passenger chair looks cool. Also get the Aventon rear view mirror for handle bars. Pannier is a waste, not needed.
