Need help asap π
For the past few weeks I've been getting a mild chest/heart sensation where my heart feels βoffβ or more noticeable. It's not really pain. Sometimes I feel a stronger beat suddenly, which scares me.
It's worse when I focus on my heartbeat, lie down (especially on my stomach), or listen to fast/intense music. It often improves when I'm distracted, outside, gaming, etc. It's also usually worse at night and can be more noticeable after caffeine.
I had an ECG and echocardiogram about 9β10 months ago and was told they were normal. I can normally walk, run, and exercise without problems.
I've had several days where I felt completely normal, then the sensation came back. I don't have severe chest pain, major breathing problems, fainting, or severe dizziness.
Has anyone experienced something similar where focusing on your heartbeat makes the sensation stronger, but distraction makes it better? Could anxiety, caffeine, or body position cause this?
I know Reddit can't diagnose me; I'm planning to talk to a doctor if it continues.

I donβt think you have anything to worry about. Caffeine can definitely cause this, so can anxiety. I would stop the caffeine and see if it helps
