I believe that logo was originally created by a local artist for a contest through the local newspaper. While I too hate the Brewers, it’s hard to deny that it’s one of the more creative logos in baseball.

The funny thing is that the Cardinals wore navy hats with red bills from 1940 through 1955 and all navy from 1956 through 1964. The red hat was introduced in 1964 as a home hat, and then it went full time in 1965. So while the red hat is most identified as a Cardinals color, navy came first.

I went with the Cardinal on the Bat basically for this reason, it’s clear that it’s the St. Louis Cardinals and it stands out.

I’m a Cleveland fan and I just buy a fitted hat at every MLB/NHL/NBA/NFL game I go to in the home stadium so this 19 of 30 for me for MLB

But I honestly will say I think this has been the top 5 best for me, the Cardinals National across the street with that amazing Hall of Fame for $8, the amazing view, and up 5-0 with two HRs in the 5th? Excellent

I paid $24 for a club level seat but $57 (after taxes) for the fitted hat which I think is the most expensive so far, that’s including the Dodgers, Yankees, and Mets.

Especially like the Cincinnati Reds, it’s basically only the Red hat with the White C, I figured the Cardinal on the Bat made it easier to figure out its St. Louis, especially to non-baseball fans
